Practicing SELF - CARE Part 2 I TIPS

Good morning! It's 9 am and I decided to write here, because when I saw this perfect weather outside I felt motivated enough to open my blog and start writing. In my last post I promised that this one will be about mental self care. This type of self care might be one of the hardest. Because controlling your emotions is easier than controlling your mind and your psychological state.

''If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete''
                                                                 - Jack Kornfield
Online you can find billions of tips, examples and advice on how to help yourself with this kind of situation. So mine won't be any special, just a few tips which you could try to use if you want.

  • Read a book. Reading a book has always been a thing that will relax ones mind and might even help to fall asleep. It can also change your opinion about others, because in books there are millions of characters with different mindset, so that might help to expand your outlook.
  • Learn a new skill. Trying new things might be a good opportunity to spend your free time usefully. Because, lets admit it, nowadays most of us complain that we have nothing to do..
  • Drawing. Well, about this, there is nothing much to tell. Only one thing that everybody knows. Drawing is therapeutic so don't be afraid if you can't draw like Van Gogh, just put all your mind into it and you will feel a lot better than before.
  • Do a DIY project. This one is interesting. Because, every time you will do it, DIY will distract your minds from all your problems and you will be concentrated only on the thing you are doing.
  •  Color. Coloring is almost like drawing and doing a DIY. Great opportunity to relax and concentrate on it. There are various types of coloring therapy so you should try a few.
  • Turn your phone off. Okay, as much as I don't like to say that, but we need to put our phones away. I mean not for all day, but at least for an hour or 30 minutes, it doesn't matter. But, from time to time we all need to run away from all the social media and just let our minds relax from all that pressure social media gives us. I am doing this and it really gives me good vibes and trust me I'm not disappointed.
And once again I hope it will be useful for you as it is for me. Enjoy the autumn and see you in the next post!
xx

UPDATES IN MY LIFE

6 am. Friday morning. Everyone is rushing into their daily routine. And then there's me. Sitting on bed. Enjoying last moments of lets say holidays, birds are chirping, sun is overtaking the day and I'm about to make a smoothie and maybe finally write a new post, because it's about time. I don't know about what it will be, but I hope it won't stop here 'cause these last days, weeks, months whenever I opened this page to write I got stuck in my minds and couldn't finish it all and etc. Oh well, happens..

Anyway, it is now 20th of July and after nine days I'll be 20 years old... While others at this age becomes billionaires, competes in Olympics, gets to be a cast of some movie, I can't say the same about myself haha... I'm mainly starting to focus on myself and what do I want from life. It's a though thing, because I want a lot and to have it, lets admit that, it requires a lot of work. I'm not saying I would give up only because it does…

What's in my cosmetic bag? Travel edition I TIPS

Hello to all of you! Tomorrow will be 24th of December so it means Christmas came really fast this year hasn't it? Also, tomorrow me and my grandmother will be going to other city. To celebrate Christmas with my cousins and their parents. We will be taking a train so it will be fun. And with that I want to start the topic which I will be talking today.
When it comes to travel lets all agree - at the beginning we all get headaches what to bring with us, what to wear and many more. Personally, I get headache only with calculating time. I mean - calculating how much I will spend time getting ready, when I need to leave my house and etc. Because my biggest problem is a fear of being late. I don't become crazy while choosing what to wear, I get crazy when I don't make certain things on time.
Anyway, I won't be talking about time, clothes or what makeup you should do on journey day. I will tell what I am bringing with myself in my cosmetic bag all the time. So enjoy reading …

2018 busy year & living abroad???? I ChitChat

Happy New Years and welcome back to this blog! From the title you may guess that today I'll be talking about few stuff that keeps popping up in my head more often.

My best friend recently got accepted to uni that she applied to. And it is abroad. Other friend will be going to US soon too.. So in the end of the day I realized there will be no one left here with who I like spending my time. Mainly I'll be lonely af. All my friends aren't in Lithuania. And I always keep thinking to move out. Not just to other apartment in the other side of the street where I could see my family. But to other country, other city. Somewhere else, where I could start living on my own and enjoy life like I always wanted heh..
So yeah..
Basically, I want to see the world outside of Lithuania. Even that thought makes me exited and motivated to plan my future maybe in Brighton? Edinburgh? Or even Colchester? Mainly in UK. Because I loved that country since my childhood and at some days I catch mysel…
