Ideas for practicing emotional SELF - CARE I TIPS

Hello once again! As I woke up today I realized it won't be a nice day. Because it was so freaking cold and it was raining. To be honest I even thought about going back to warm bed and miss today's lecture... But I didn't. So I made a cup of white tea with peaches, ate my breakfast, got ready and there was still more than two hours left until my bus. I could've watched a movie or a few series of something, but I decided that today will be all about my emotional self - care. That's what I will be talking about in this post mainly.

'' When you say yes to others make sure you are not saying no to yourself''
                                                                                                             - Paulo Coelho

Here I will give you 6 ideas of practicing this kind of self - care where you will be saying ''yes'' to yourself.

  1. Meditate. It is all about breathing and focusing on your body from head to toe. Turn on calm music (wordless would be the best, trust me) and just take your time. The best part of this is that there's no specific time you need to do this. Spend as much as you want!
  2. Practice Yoga. Well it doesn't only help you to relax and make yourself feel better. It also helps to become more flexible and concentrated on some task you are obligated to do.
  3. Light scented candles. Just do it. Scented candles are a must have when it comes to feeling better/loving yourself. Plus, they also help to concentrate on certain things.
  4. Talk with friends. Talking with your best friend might be one of the trickiest parts in all of this. But when you get used to it you will see that it is more helpful and more fun than you think.
  5. Journal. Organizing your day, sketching, writing down idead or stories. It was and will always be a good idea, so go on, buy a journal/notebook and start this!
  6. Write down a list of what you are grateful for. A list of things you are grateful for might be the most calming thing ever. Today when I opened my journal I started to write that and in the end I was with a playful smile on my face. I'm not lying! Try that and you will see it by yourself.

So I hope this was useful not only for me and see you in the next post where I will be talking about mental self - care!
See you soon & have a wonderful week!
xx

Realizing all the changes I GTKM

Welcome back!
The reason I decided to write now is simple and weird at the same time. Today I was walking home from work (which I quit today & not sad about that) and it all looked like in a movie. I'm not joking it really looked like that! The music was playing (I had earphones), everything seemed relaxing and I lifted my head to look in the sky. It was cloudy and few seconds after it started to rain. Usually I would've walked fast to home, but then I smiled like an idiot and enjoyed the moment (one of the reasons was that I hadn't any makeup on). Anyway, while I was happy about walking in rain I caught myself thinking about how everything changed in my life. Not just my haircut and color (that I'm always changing, because I can't find the color I feel, if you understand), but everything really changed.
First of all. I don't know if my mentioned that in earlier posts, but when I was younger I had a friend and I listened to that friends opinion every damn tim…

Autumn means fresh? & Christmas is coming I ChitChat

In our lives we all have ups and downs. It isn't something surprising. Right now I have one of those downs. I mean even though I'm at the place where I always want to spend my time, there is still something missing. And the most annoying thing is that I don't know what it is. I have amazing friends & a perfect relationship with my mom. That's all I needed, but somehow that is not all. I do want to do a lot of stuff with my life to make it better, but there is zero motivation to start making those steps. Those steps and things are really simple and easy, for example book for a driving school. I do keep talking about it but still can't manage to sign in. There are so many more things to do and at this moment I just have no strength & motivation. Yes, I already googled infinite amount of tips of how to pull myself together, but all I feel is exhaust.

Anyway, I hope it will fade away soon and now lets talk about Christmas!!! I already heard Christmas songs in a…

Halloween vibes & new resolutions I ChitChat

Hello to all of you! Once again I'm laying in my bed, drinking muffin-flavoured tea and scrabbling here. Today's topic won't be anything special, just a simple post that I decided to write on a Wednesday evening.
So to begin with I changed my hair color.. (once again...) and I'm happy with it! I mean, I'm truly enjoying this color. It is kind of a pastel pink and rose gold mix. At first when I dyed it I was like ''Jesus what have I done...''. But now I'm thinking that I will leave this color for as long as possible. Also Halloween is almost here and now that I'm with pink hair it is easier to do makeup for that occasion. Still don't know exactly what or who I'll be, but I'm planning to do a video of my Halloween makeup tutorial. I think it will be great. Hope so.
Also I want to talk more about ''new resolutions'' subject. I know that every time of the year, every month I'm talking about how I want to change, sta…
